About the Company
Atlas Civil Engineering (ACE) was founded in 2012, in Houston, Texas by Eric Cardwell, a licensed civil engineer with over 25 years of experience. ACE is applying the combination of traditional, innovative and proven methods with the latest technological advances in order to create cost-effective and timely engineering solutions consistent with sound engineering practice. Mr. Cardwell, a registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the states of Texas and New York and a Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) by the Texas Floodplain Management Association, has extensive government and private sector experience on both the design and construction management side to ensure that the company’s engineering solutions meet or exceed high performance standards.

- ACE is a certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) by the City of Houston, Office of Business Opportunity - Certification No. 14-12-12773.
- ACE is a certified Small Business Enterprise (SBE) by the Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County, Texas (METRO) - Certification No. 1170.
- ACE is precertified with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to provide Roadway Construction Management And Inspection (11.1.1).
- ACE is registered with TBPE, Texas Registration Number F-14976.
